Meet Maria DeLeonibus, DMD

Originally from Annapolis, Maryland, Dr. DeLeonibus has strong family ties to Northeast Ohio and is proud to return to the Greater Cleveland area to serve the community she considers home.

About Dr. DeLeonibus

Dr. DeLeonibus practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, with a focus on delivering efficient, evidence-based treatment in a comfortable setting. She routinely performs:

  • Wisdom teeth removal and complex tooth extractions
  • Dental implant placement and bone grafting
  • Corrective jaw (orthognathic) surgery
  • Facial trauma surgery and reconstruction
  • Oral pathology and lesion management
  • IV sedation and general anesthesia

What distinguishes Dr. DeLeonibus clinically?

Her training spans a Level 1 trauma center, the nation’s top-ranked children’s hospital, and a VA hospital system, giving her uncommon breadth in managing both routine and medically complex cases.

In addition to clinical care, she is committed to academic dentistry and plans to serve as a volunteer instructor at Case Western Reserve University, helping train future oral surgeons and dentists.

Outside the Office

Outside of the operating room, Dr. DeLeonibus enjoys spending time with her family and her English yellow Labrador Retriever, Leo.
